Sharing My Vision: A Space to Encounter God
Sabrina Lynn Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping people know God outside the walls of a traditional church.
It started with a stirring in my heart—a desire to do more than just coaching. I didn’t need it to be big or in the spotlight, but I wanted to make a greater impact and touch more lives. I began asking God to use me. I prayed, “If there’s something You need done and You’re waiting for the right person, prepare me and use me. I’m willing and available.”
Part of my prayer was to be involved in something I couldn’t do on my own—something that would only be possible with God’s hand in it. I asked Him to use me in a way that would create a testimony of His work, showing His faithfulness and power. I wanted to do something unique—something that hadn’t been done before—even though I had no idea what that might look like.
I know there are retreat centers all over the world, and yet this calling hasn’t lifted. It’s stayed. At the same time, God has gently reminded me that if I want to build something that lasts, the roots have to come first. So I’ve begun this ministry work with Bible Boxes. They’re a starting place. A foundation. You can learn more about them on the next tab.
I know this is bigger than me—and I’m very aware of that. But it's continuing to develop both in my heart and in my mind. And I keep hearing God say, “If you’re not going to do it, someone else will. So, why not you?”
Thank you for coming along on this mission! I’m figuring it out as I go, but I’m stepping out in faith and fully trust that God is guiding every step! I’m so grateful you’re here and hope you’ll continue to be a part of this as it unfolds!
That led to the heart of my mission: to help people know God outside the walls of the traditional church. The biggest impact I can have is helping others feel God’s presence and truly get to know Him.
For so many, the idea of stepping into a church feels intimidating or overwhelming. Others feel disconnected or have had bad experiences, but still long for a relationship with God. I want to meet people where they are.
I see this space as a bridge—not to replace the church, but to supplement it. To offer a safe space people can grow closer to God and take steps toward a deeper faith, in a way they feel comfortable.
God placed a big vision on my heart, one that includes a mobile Prayer Haven that could respond in real time to moments of crisis. The shooting at the Christian school in Madison, WI. The incident in New Orleans. The little boy hit by a bus. The fires in California. My heart wants to be in all of those places at once.
In times of crisis, people are often angry, confused, or wrestling with God, and that’s often when they need Him the most. A mobile Prayer Haven would allow us to go where it’s needed most and meet people right where they are, bringing prayer, presence, and hope into hard spaces.
Another part of this vision is a retreat center. I feel deeply grateful that I’m able to hear God’s voice clearly, but I also know that isn’t everyone’s experience. Life is loud. Schedules are full. Noise crowds out stillness, and it becomes hard to truly listen. I often walk quiet backcountry roads, and that’s where I feel closest to God. But not everyone has access to that kind of space or pause.
